I won't be active in facebook for the time being so thought of using this place to update my thoughts.

Changed relationship status

I don't wish to say much. All you have to know is that he was a good boyfriend and we were beautiful together. It's the past.


It has been awhile since we weren't officially together but we were still close with one another so i thought it was inappropriate to change my r/s status then. we had been together going 2 years, it wasn't a easy decision. But i think it was a right one, a change that will be better for us.


Thank you for all you have done for me, it will be remembered.


Take good care of yourself. Don't give up when you feel down, i'm sure you will eventually achieve what you want in life.

The Little Mermaid

The 1989 version of the Little Mermaid might be better known as “The big whopper!” In the Disney version, the film ends with Ariel the mermaid being changed into a human so she can marry Eric. They marry in a wonderful wedding attended by humans and merpeople. But, in the very first version by Hans Christian Andersen, the mermaid sees the Prince marry a princess and she despairs. She is offered a knife with which to stab the prince to death, but rather than do that she jumps into the sea and dies by turning to froth. Hans Christian Andersen modified the ending slightly to make it more pleasant. In his new ending, instead of dying when turned to froth, she becomes a “daughter of the air” waiting to go to heaven – so, frankly, she is still dead for all intents and purposes.



You can't stop caring for someone just as you wish, when it becomes an instinct.  

Sterotypes

Though i'm someone critical, i think it's wrong to be judgemental.

I mean it's ok to say that jc people are generally more hardworking, girls are generally  more vain than guys etc.. But to give a defintite jugement to a generalised observation is just wrong.


1. If you're  popular on facebook, you're  pretentious and have no real friends.

2. If you had a long relationship with someone, you had sex with him.

3. If you're inactive on facebook with only ten friends, you're a loser.

4. If you like luxury brands, you are a bimbo.

5. If you're in Jc, you love studying and is a geek.

6. If you're in Ite, you have no future.

7. If you do well for exams, you're a closet mugger.

8. If you fail badly, you're a idiot.

9. If you express your personal thoughts on facebook, you're an attention seeking whore.

10. If you choose a pretty profile picture (or has photoshoped it), you're fake and ugly in real life.


-  when you say 'i think you're a judgmental person.' you fail to realise that you are ACTUALLY judging too.


These are just a few things i have heard about on facebook, and i'm not saying i'm all perfect or what, just sometimes i hope everyone is a little kinder to the people around them and focus more on the + points of others. And labelling someone based on your personal experience is just a little shallow.


I'm not saying we should love everyone around us, but just be less horrid to those we don't seem to love.
